According to wbbm780.com, a 7-year-old boy’s foot was caught in an escalator at Midway Airport in Chicago in February. A nearby doctor saw the accident take place and was able to hit the emergency stop and rush over to aid the boy. The boy suffered serious injuries and may have to undergo amputation of certain parts of his foot. The equipment was inspected after the incident. Stand in the middle of the escalator steps, folks!
